what is the sensor on the top of the intake manifold on a gsr

On top of the IN manifold or the throttle body??? On the manifold itself you're probably talking about the IAT... or if it's a 96+ motor the EVAP purge solenoid... Peace

 

im not sure what year the swap its a jdm swap but it came w/ an obd 1 ecu

 

Okay well if you wanna know the year of the motor look at the face of the head above the #3 exhaust port... There should be 4 sets of numbers that look something like this... This is a '96 P72 (B18C1) cylinder head

To read the year of the motor find the numbers farthest to the left... On this head it was (9|6) indicating that the motor was a '96 most likely from a 1997 Teg GSR... Just a little info if you wanted to know.... By the way were you talking about the throttle body or IN manifold??? That narrows down the possibilities... Latez
