Default self locking nut (suspension)

where can i find this, home depot doesnt have the right one and acura doesnt have it in stock. This is the self locking nut that comes off the flange bolt. The manual recommeds replacing it.

also do i just use axle grease for the bushing on the lca, the manual says grease then to the side of it says silicone grease?

You need to make your purchase at the dealer for that nut... Silicone grease is the preferred choice as it is temperature stable in a wide variety of climates...

EVIL Teken...
Correct, or try finding it at http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

I wonder why they recommend replacing it? I'm doing my suspension this weekend and now that has me thinking if I should get new ones. Are you talking about the nut that goes onto the long bolt that connects the damper fork to the control arm?

I'm not sure - do most people replace those as directed? I've taken apart the entire suspension so many times I'm sure I would have spent a fortune on replacing everything so many times.

I have taken my suspension off many many many times, and never have to replace the nuts...unless they're hard to thread in, you do not need to repalce it...

if they're tque right, you'll be okay...

yes that one. Heres the part number 90215-SB0-003. The only reason why i see they recommend replacing it is because its a locking nut.

Teken, i just bought all purpose grease. That wont work? the stores i went had never heard of silicone grease, nor did the honda parts person. which was a very cute girl.
