Default secondary O2 sensor.

if the second O2 sensor is reading fresh air, will it send a code to richen up the mix?

i have a straight pipe, and the 2nd O2 was just zip tied under the car. Not plumbed into the exhaust.

are u throwing any codes? if your o2 sensor is throwing a code than it will richen the fuel up.

The secondary O2 sensor should not change the amount of fuel injected. It is just there to compare values with the primary O2 sensor to determine if the cat is worn out or not.
