Default Toda Cams

Ive been going to the Purehonda forum for almost a year now and I never even heard about Toda cams before I came to this forum.

Everyone here seems to love them. How do they compare to JDM, spoon, mugen or comptech cams?

Excuse my ignorance.

Toda makes one of the best Honda VTEC cams. if i had a VTEC head i would deffinatly be saving up for those.

Excuse my ignorance.
JDM itr cams-->same as US itr cams
JDM ctr cams-->intake cam has 4 degrees more duration
SPOON cams-->a little more agressive than the ctr/itr cams, nice upgrade
Mugen cams-->not available for sale, evidently only availble to race teams
Comptech-->not sure if they produce cams...the last time I was there they didn't mention anything to me

TODA A - medium upgrade, slightly radical VTEC lobe, more agressive than SPOON, cam gears, and fuel management(ala A'PEXi VAFC, or programable, see below)
TODA B - medium-high upgrade, increased compression recommended, high-flow header required, JDM itr at the least, TODA cam gears , TODA valvesprings recommended, Ti retainers highly recommended, fuel management(ala programable ECU, or stock ECU, A'PEXi VAFC and FPR)
TODA C - high upgrade, increased compression required, headwork highly recommended, nice header(ala HyTech(my choice), SPOON, TODA, SMSP), TODA valvsprings required, Ti retainers required, fuel management(larger injectors, programable ECU...OBD I, Hondata, A'PEXi PowerFC(my choice))

If I'm wrong somewhere here, please correct me, as this is the information that I have accumulated over the last year through my research, and my recent experiences. Look below at the link in my signature to see how I went about it...though I did go a little overboard.

For those who haven't been to Toda's website recently, they now have their "Toda Racing VTEC Killer Camshafts," made from a hollow core.
$1800/set!
