Default School Tech Project

I have to come up with an invention. I really want to do something for performance but I also have to be able to make it.
Could anyone give me some ideas?
Thanks.

Invent some intake which increases airflow to the engine. Something similar to whats out today but shaped diferently or something.

What do you think would be better a ram air intake or cold air intake?
The intake idea would be pretty good because I could make it from carbon fiber.
And at my school they have a wind tunnel. I could test it out there.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Do you have any other ideas?

invent a variable length intake tube. long tube for the low rpms, when a longer pipe and more velocity is needed, shorter for higher rpms..

If you have access to a wind tunnel and proficiency with molding cf, you could make a hood with an air intake NACA duct and measure the differences in engine power vs. aero Cd once installed. Or perhaps a carbon fiber undertray, and measure it's effectiveness from Cd drop (and lift coefficient if you can measure that).

You should invent a quick release transmission, so that thousands of people could change clutches quicker.
