Has anyone experienced a clutch that has been shattered and a scatter shield protected the rest of your investment ie, distributor, turbo, manifold etc.

I am very concerned cause part of my Hi-tech header and turbo will be sitting on my transmission and also my air to water intercooler will also be in the way if my clutch shatters.

Don't worry about the clutch shattering... worry about the flywheel.
If you've ever seen what happens when a flywheel shatters and goes tearing through everything the last thing you'll be thinking about is your header and turbo. People have been killed by exploding flywheels. Considering the mods you just read off I'd say you have a considerable amount of money invested in your car. I would recomend you install the scattershield. I just hope you never need it.
