Default Safe to disconnect, reconnect coolant hoses to IACV?

I cleaned out my throttle body recently and have had huge success getting rid of a hesitation problem I was having.

I have a new issue now: hunting idle on cold starts and also sporadic RPM spikes when I let my foot off the gas.

I'm wanting to clean out my IACV and adjust the FITV tomorrow. Is it OK to remove the coolant hoses from my IACV and then just re-attach them after it's been cleaned? Or will that allow air into the system?

Just curious if I should be doing anything else other than disconnecting/reconnecting them.

Just bleed the coolant system once things are back together. 94
