Default s300, multiple ECU's, need help!

I am posting this for DvD3. He has an affection for offensive signatures, so he can't post it himself.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hey whats going on everyone, its DvD3.. I was recently banned and no one will help me get back onto HT, and the admins ban my new names. I need technical help.. and this is the only way I can do it.
I recently redid my fuel setup. BDL Cam gears, BDL fuel rail with fuel pressure guage, aem fpr, russell stainless lines, walbro 255lph pump, and rc 440cc injectors. I dropped the car off in running form to the tuner in CT here. That was back on January 5th. Its feb 21 now. I was just sposed to get a tune and have him install the hondata s300 i ordered on a virgin p72 ob1. We got the conversion harness from obd2a to obd1. He told me he soldered it and got it rdy, and the main relay was clicking. He replaced the relay and it still clicked, so then he told me it was a bad p72. Somethin about one section of the board wasnt punched thru all the way. So I picked up another p72 from another fellow HT user.. and he looked at this one and said itll work. He soldered it, same problem. So he sent the s300 back to hondata, and they said the unit works. He told me he thinks they are lying and is going to buy another s300 out of his own pocket. This a really nice guy and a really super known VW/audi tuner. Hes had 20+ turbo honda tunes.. My cars still there nothing blown up or stolen... I just dont know what to do. I think I might take it back and learn to tune myself and just solder it together myself as well.
What I need to know is what do you think the problem is? Think the s300 is bad? He's a master chip tuner and burner. He does it all the time on the Vw, and hes done hondata setups for hondas as well, so I take his word for his install.. What do you guys think?

somehow i doubt hondata is lying to him. i think there is most likely a problem with the obd jumper....

Is J12 cut or removed. If not, it won't pass the data properly to the datalogger.
