Default Rubber Fuel Line

I need to extend the rubber fuel line from the fuel filter on the firewall to the rail. Does anyone replace these with aftermarket/automotive store hardware? The fitting on the top of the fuel filter and on the rail end looks proprietary.

What options do I have?

I had to do this before...ended up at True Value....got some regular rubber hose and some brass fittings. The fuel system is not under a tremendous amout of pressure...

I used the barb-type hose fittings to mate my new rubber hose to the old OEM hose ends with the fittings on them.

contact Stan (flamenco-t is his screen name) him and many others sell a kit to just replace this line. Comes with what you need.

A search on google will find many places that sell this kit as well.

Or you could get an OEM one from a junkyard that is a little longer.

Thanks. Nice to know I got some options. I just don't want to half *** the hardware since were dealing with fuel so I'm probably being a tad over careful.

These look sufficient. Autozone can order them too.

Has any one used the Russell Kit for this car? I want to know if the line is longer then the OEM fuel line.
