Default rpm not working

Hey guys I got 99 civic dx I did a b16a swap but now my rpm don't work. I bought an sir cluster and checked if if that was on, which it works. Also my distributor is a 10 pin and my harness is an si harness so that is 8 pin. I made my own conversion harness from 10 pin to I pin. And the blue wire I hooked up manually to the end it's spouse to go. Still does not work. Please and thank you
