Default b18b eagle rods on a b17a crank

Has anyone had any problems or know of any problems with putting b18b eagle rods on a stock b17a crank?

ronnie, change your address. its bugging me.

I did the search and the eagle rods will fit fine actually, in my B18b block. The problem was with the early 92 B17A blocks had a lower deck height than the 93 b17a blocks and the rods were shortened to compensate for the loss of deck height. They were having trouble with the eagle b17a rods which only made for the later b17a (137mm) length rods and that pushed the pistons out of the sleeves in the earlier blocks that had the shorter deck height.

Until I see some proof that there were two different b17a blocks, I think it's best to not believe the BS eagle spews out.
