Default Rod "Strength"?..

Would someone like to take me to school in the Ls Rod strength? Im boosting gonna put different pistons in, im just curious to see what is safe in horsepower rating, are different valves gonna affect how much power i can make "safey" thanks everyone,, ps i have searched and searched and found nothing on this topic.

Generally speaking 300 hp and 8000 rpm with arp rod bolts is considered "safe".I have been running in that range for a few years with out any issues.There are plenty of builds in that range using stock bolts with out any problems.

what about like 350ish? what is your setup?how much power?

ls rods for stock na ls motor...

aftermarket rods for turbo with the correct clearances aswell...

valve size for turbo applications helps but be careful with the sizes...

that should steer you in a better direction...
