Default rod journal widen

i was doing some searching and found out that having my rod journals widen would help w/ the oiling issues w/ the kseries motors. is there anybody on here done this before. does anybody know if this would help at all or should i be fine? this is for a boosted k24 motor.

The better way is to narrow the rods. This allows more oil to pass through the rods and help cool the rod bearings.I have seen this done by milling radial slots in the side of the rods too. This will also lower your oil pressure a little and add more oil windage.Opening you rod bearing clearance will do the same thing to a lesser degree.
