my honda service manual says that the main and ros bearins are select fit, meaning that there should be a color code for each individual bearing to fit into each journal. i got a set of standard federal mogul bearings and there is no indication of any of the bearings being different from each other. will these bearings work or do i need to get the ones from honda?

 

I ended up buying the honda bearings. The size is also stamped on the crank.

 

i would also buy the honda ones because they are supposed to be different

 

honda bearing clearences are alot tighter than the standard bearings. they will work. just measure the clearences.
