i don't know if they're numbered, but they should be put back in the same place. look on them for any #'s or letters or something.

It doesn't matter what order they go in, just make sure you put each combination of 3 in correctly on each intake and exhaust side. Just make sure the piston lines up correctly between the three rockers.

The helms only refers to the ORDER in which to remove and insert them. There is only 1 way to remove and 1 way to install. It merely states that you install them in the reverse order that you removed them - which is the only way to get them back in.

There is no mention of making sure you have the same set of rockers in the same location as when you took them out.

However, I do recommend that you always label what you take out so that it goes back where it originally was, but if (in this case) the rockers are mixed up, it doesn't matter where they go back in, just so long as each combination of 3 rocker arms is correctly inserted into each intake and exhaust side.

okay...so i'm suppose to know which rockers are on the intake side and which are on the exhaust side? if so, i think that's impossible due to the fact that they all look alike! plus they do have numbers on them but the numbers make no sense whatsoever! there's numbers from 0 - 5 on them. hhmmmm...i think i just might try putting them on which ever way and then try to adjust them. oh yeah guys...this isn't a V-tec head, it's only an LS so there aren't 3 rockers but only 2. thanks for all the help though!!

No, there is no difference between the intake vs the exhaust side.
