Is this the right way to ground the valve cover and head? I bolted one side to the power steering bracket (ground for the head) and one side to the valve cover both meeting at this point. Is is better to ground em together like that or should i run them all to the negative battery terminal? TIA

 

I don't belive they have to go to the battery terminal. As long as they are properly grounded to a metal surface, usually something on the frame, you should be fine.

ill back him up. as long as the neg betery cable has a clean connection to the frame and the frame to the block then your good.

You should be fine...wait, you did prep that spot before you grounded to it though right?

 

yea, i sanded it down a bit.

 

Now that the wire's bolted on tight, put some grease or something over it so it doesn't corrode.
