Default Rev Limiter after MSD Install??? WTF?!?!

Just got done installing an MSD 6BTM on my 92 with a canadian P28 ecu . Everything works great except now i'm hitting a rev-limiter(must be factory as i removed the msd's chip) at what apperas to be 7k rpm, where before i was able to rev to 7200 rpm. WTF, did i hook something up incorrectly? Anyone have any idea's?
Thanks
