A friend of mine is using the 6AL and he wants to use the stock rev limit of 8500 rpm on the ITR. The 6al only comes with a 8000 rpm pill. Do I just remove the 8000 RPM pill and leave it open so, the car will use stock ECU rev limit?

i will second that.that is what i am doing on my car

 

One thing i'm thinking about .. Isn't the stock rev limiter cutting the fuel only ? If so, it may harm the engine on a boosted situation .
