rev limiter?

Default rev limiter?
My rev limiter kicks in at 6900 rpm and my v tec doesn't work,Any ideas???

yes my check engine light is on and i have codes, but it doesn't make sense, code 9 and 14???

You should really check the oil and make sure that you have enough in your car. Vtec is activated by Oil pressure and hence, no oil - no Vtec.
