Default replacing valve train

i was tring to replace all the valve train on a b16 head my self and i was wondering for those that do this, what tools do you guys use? what style valve spring compressor and other tools

if you're just replacing the valvetrain, they make a tool that doesn't require taking off the head. you can find it at shuck's, napa, or any automotive place. if you do that, you have to find a way to keep the valve from dropping into the cylinder. ie, air compressor or stuff the cyl with string.

if your head is off.
get yourself a 13/16 deep socket and open a hole in there.
you can use this socket with the spring compressor C-clamp.
i use this and it worked very well.

this works too. I had to do this just today on a GSR head cause the spring compressor wouldn't reach inside the head. I got out an O2 sensor socket(has a cutaway in the socket), compressed the spring with the valve spring comressor with the O2 socket, all worked out well.

that's the problem i have. i cant get inside the hed. i was just trying to see if there was any other way to do that istead of the socket way. i've done that b4

i just bought a tool on ebay that can be use to remove the valve springs without taking the head off.
just type b18 valve spring compressor
i paid $55
it should be a very helpfull tool.
i will try it when my cams and valve springs get here.

SP tools? i also looked at the tool on ebay, i guess all you'd have to do is tighten the spring? how hard would it be to compress the spring with a bolt?
