Replacement Master Cylinder probelms
After replacing my master cylinder with a new one from a parts house, I have more pedal travel. Brakes work, but I have to push alot farther than before.
Anyone have trouble with parts house MC's? Better to get the more expensive one from Honda?
This is a track lapping/daily driver with Goodridge SS brake lines, all new calipers and pads.

Bleed properly ??? Just a thought ?
Skip if already done ..... Next thing I cn think of you might of broken your master cylinder seal while bleeding brakes (too much pedal can make seal guve way)

If you bled all the air out of the system, it probably needs to have the rod length adjusted.
Rod length adjusted, bled like you can't believe. Here's a new symptom- pedal travel changes intermittantly. Sometimes firmer, sometimes real mushy.
Brake booster passes Helm's test.
Help!
