Default leaky clutch master cylinder

i have like 2 streams of brake fluid coming into the cabin, and i was wondering if anyone know how long till the master will give up at this rate. also where should i get a new master cylinder from? can someone explain to me the bleeding process for installing a new master cylinder? thanks

Sound like the seal are gone. You can get a rebuild kit or buy a new, used or refurb.

this is what u do find out where the fluid is comng from then replace it with honda parts bc nuttin else never lasts i gotta slave cylinder from napa and it lasted 6 months so go to honda. gonn cost u but it will last longer

Bought a refurb brake master cylinder from Kragen. Used it for HPDE/autox and it still work like day 1.

well if it is leaking from the master cylinder, it is most likely the master cylinder LOL, i will just go to autozone tomorrow and pick up a new one. should run me like 50 bucks

I bought one off eBay and had no problems so far after 4 months. Basically after install, fill up with fluid and have someone pump the pedal, release the bleeder valve. Repeat until pedal is firm.

i thought you have to close the valve before the person let the clutch back up so it doesnt suck more air in

Yes. Pump and hold down the pedal, release the bleeder valve. Close the valve. Pump again. Repeat.

what if i already have the bleeder valve open, then i pump and hold? close bleeder valve then let pedle up?

alright so basically hooke up the lines for the master and fill it all the way top with brake fluid?

You can do it this way. As long as you pump all new fluid through the lines to get rid of all the air.
