To replace the Field vtec controller
for the pass 3 years i have had fields vtec controller , which is ver easy to use .
but once in a while the back plug that goes in to the unit itself attends to get a bit loose and gives me problems . Should i replace it with Apexi controller and is it and easy thing to do . ???

The VAFC is better than the Fields.. I used both and it seemed like the Fields never held its setting very long..
The VAFC good, and it isnt hard to use...

im going to invest on it , i just got the car tuned . But i have no problem hitting the dyno again to tune the VAFC since im installing a BBK fuel pump to replace the stock one
Thanks
Thanks
Go with the Apexi
If you want to stay with the SFC, you can cut the wiring plug off and solder straight onto the pins in the back of the unit. I had the wobbly plug problem and doing this fixed it.
