Default removing tranny...

Is there anyway possible to remove the block from the engine bay w/o taking the tranny with it? And if/when they do both have to come out togehter, the tranny slides right off right? To get the tranny off its just the axle, and 2 mounts correct? Just makin sure before we get the sucker out of the bay Thx in advance, this is for a 95 integra ls btw.

You could, but it's a pain in the ***. Just yank the engine w/tranny out and put it back as 1 unit. That's just my opinion.

I agree with him,its gonna save alot of time.So say you you did to it,its going to be a PITA to align the motor up witht he shaft in the tranny.Might as well pull it out as one and put it in as one.

never mind pulling the motor...imho its a hell aof a lot easier lifting the car to the sky and using a cherry picker to drop the whole motor down onto a creeper or roller assembly and pull it out form underneath...balacning the tranny and motor and pulling it from the top is a pain to me, plus you can leave just little stuff in....just mho....
