removing rev limiter
i am looking at some zex cams, either the street one or the street strip one
and i need to remove the rev limiter to get more power out of my motor
what are some ways to do this? i know there are a lot of ecu chips that do this, what programs are ideal? also dont some apexi electronic things do this as well?

Why do you think Removing the rev limiter will give you more power?
If the motor is still basicially stock (nothing internally done) then the rev limit is there for a good reason. Just because you raise the rev limit doesn't mean you take advantage of "Extra power up there"
JdmHondaparts.com probably still chips ECUs. And I've seen good things with the Mugen program.
But what else is done to the Motor?

i dont think removing the rev limiter will give me more power, however some of the camshafts i am looking at make power up to 7800 RPM and seeing how my stock redline is 7200 RPM, i could have more power if i raise the redline accordingly
i am planning on getting a camshaft and cam gear, upgrading the valve springs and retainers, and gettings a chipped ecu for starters
and eventually doing more engine work when i get the $$ and time
