Default Removing 'freshly installed' valve seals.

It's a long, depresssing story that I don't want to go into.

Anyway, I just installed brand new valve seals from Supertech, into a ported LS B1 head. Well, come to find out that that head is now just one large door stop/paperweight.

So is there anyway to remove freshly installed valve seals and not damage them? I know they're not expensive, but I'd rather not just waste them if I don't have to. Head was never ran, so the seals never got hot, or anything.

Thanks for any help.

Good luck man. Those things suck to remove even when you don't care about their condition. Sorry to hear about your head issues.

I've never been able to consistently remove valve seals without any damage. I would just get new ones because they interference fit with the ridge on the top of the valve guide. You may not get the same tight fit and the seal could come loose from the guide if reused.
