i have had problems where the tranny sticks to the block, use a pry bar and a friend it'll come out might take a lil work. best bet is to replace the flywheel

Use a jack for ease. The b-series transmission weighs about 80 lbs. dry.

I just get under the car while it is on jack stands and wiggle it off with my hands and lower it onto my chest/belly. Then I gently transfer it to the ground and slide it out. Seriously most 16 year olds can bench press at least 140lbs and this weighs a little over half that. You will have no problems.
