can anybody help me my can is redlinin 3500-4000 and i dont know y,anybody have any ideas thanks for the help

 

what motor?? is the CEL on?

And has it been chipped or has anything "weird" happened to it that we should know about?

 

Check oil level/pressure.

 

k it is a 93 ls and it is chipped for no rev lim or sumshit,i am only usin that cuz i was goin to go to obd1 but i could not get it to work, the CEL only came on once and it was 14 but its not anymore,and that is the right ecu but it is chipped

 

Put the stock chip in. If it still has a problem, your ecu is fux0rd and you need a new one.

 

i dont have it,but i have the obd0 auto ecu would i be able to use that and see or no

 

if the redline is 4000.... the person who chipped your computer didnt do it right. try taking the chip out and flipping it. that could be the problem. the person could have put it in backwards.....

 

i just talked to my guy that i got it off of and he said when it was in his DA it worked past 7200

but i will take the cover off and check the chip

 

ok i just changed my oil and plugs and it is still doin it but now it goes up to like 5000-5500 and code 14 is stayin on now

 

is it just in first gear its doing this or every gear?

 

Isn't code 14 an automatic code? Ask the guy if he can swap the ECU to a 5-speed, it takes probably 2 minutes. It's probably the chip if it won't rev past 5k rpms...fuxxed chips always do that

 

k the chip is in the 5 speed obd0 ecu and it was flashin 14 and so i tryed the auto ecu and it cut outs at like 2000 at full thr and then if i go half then it is still at around 4500 and it still flashes 14
