Default problem after gsr swap, help needed desperately!!!!!

I just swapped an obd2 gsr motor into a 94 ls. I ran vtec solenoid, oil pressure switch and knock sensor. I'm running a skunk 2 chipped p28. There is no check engine light, but the problem is that the car will not rev past 4000rpm. I need to figure this out tonight. Does anybody know what could be wrong?

Try to borrow a OBD II Ecu from a GSR and swap that in.... It *could* be your ecu

could be, very possible. he has a 94 ls as well being OBD1.

Try using your stock P75 ECU.

Doesnt feel like the rev limiter. It gets soft around 3200-3500 and kinda just slows down to a putter, like it can't get past 4000 rpms. I havent driven it, just messing with it in the driveway. No CEL's, will try the LS ecu in an hour.

gsr motor on ls ecu runs rich. Still trying to figure out the problem with the p28 though.
