Well, i finally got my b16 running, I got my p28 chipped and the motor doesn't go passed 4500("VTEC engagement"). What could be wrong. The solenoid is fine, screen is clean, I split the wire and revved to 3k rpm and touched power on the battery and it kicks. what could it be. I don't have a check engine light. I do have an upshift light on the top right of the cluster.

I've been told that it could be the VTEC wiring but the wires were run by a good friend of mine that is a mechanic and has done it a bunch of times before. So I doubt its that.

Doesnt sound like a Vtec problem but an Ecu issue. Swap w/ known good ecu and retest.
