how do i get it to stop???? any quick sloutions that i can do in my drive way?

 

It's probably not the cat, but the heatshield that surrounds it. Take some vice grips and tear at the corners where the mounting holes of the heartshield are, just rip it out. You will find that at least one of the mounting holes is rusted out, and since it isnt secure the shield rattles. There are top and bottom shields, I would only remove the one that is rattling. what i do for that kinda thing is to get a metal coat hanger
and a pair of pliers

and just wrap it around watever is loose....then twist it tight as heck and it'll stay like that. til other parts get loose

 

I just got the large hoseclamps that you screw, and put it around the heatshield/exhaust, and screwed it down like all hell...but it started rattling just recently again..and i dont wanna crawl under there in the snow to tighten it

 

Hence the reason I say to tear it out, you dont need it and if it isnt there it cannot rattle anymore! Later!
