Default Raising compression

I wanted to know how much raising my compression with hi- compression
pistons, valves and what not will do in respect to adding HP. Is it
worth it? i dont want to go the turbo route.
Any input?

Of course is worth it, and then if you gonna get bigger cams it helps even more. Radical cams wont even work good unless you have high compression.

One thing peple fail to remember is all that compression, big lumpy cams and **** dont mean squat if the head dont flow enough air. In an all motor car, headwork and valvetrain is the backbone of the performance. If the head dont flow any air, all that doesnt mean ****. hehe

i wouldnt say "they dont mean ****"..but i know what u mean ...yup depending on the compression and profile cams u want...u will gain hp regardless but with an extreme cam profile and high comp..the "stock" head, header, and IM will become the restrictions...................................als o remember tuning is your friend

Well i understand all of the reply's. I have had problems finding a cam in my category. Does anyone know any import part magazines? I have both Jegs adn Summit magazines. They have stuff but mostly for the integras civics and ludes. Well any info on the past quesitons would be helpful.

You don't need magazines, everything you need can be found online, most likely you can find in on Honda-Tech.

That's why they make printers, and you don't have all of those annoying marketing schemes to put up with.
