Default Rain-X ..... WOW!

A couple of months ago you guys said how good Rain-X was. I've never believed much in all the auto accessory stuff. Gas, oil and grease, was enough for the purist in me. But as I'm getting a little older, the eyesight is not as good as it was.

I bought some Rain-X 8 weeks ago, buts its been too cold to use it. Well it hit 65 degrees here on the north coast yesterday.......WooHoo!!! and I treated my mirrors and windshield. I could not believe it today. The water just beaded up and blew off the windshield at 40 mph! Wow, I can't believe this stuff!

The only problem was when I polished the windshield, my hand went under the wiper arm, and a razor sharp edge filleted my hand like a fish and took a two inch by 1/2 inch piece of skin off the back of my hand...............

Thanks for the tip on Rain-X guys!
Regards,
BigMoose

yeah, the stuff is good, you can get it in any parts store, or kmart or wallmart.
I used it a lot on SC while i lived there, and it was really good, but before aplying make sure the glass is REALLY clean and no oily because of your hands.
My question about it, is when you want to take it out, how can u do it?

fog X didn't work that good for me, i guess i didn't apply it correctly! But rainX works great, in the rainy season i can drive without turning on my wipers(on light to moderate rain). but when i go to the track, the tech guy has a hard time applying the shoe paint in my windshield, because the rainX won't let it stick to the glass!

The stuff from Stoner is called Invisible Glass. When you use it with wadded up newspaper (with print on it), *like whoa* you will be amazed how clear the glass is.

Well you talked me into that now too! There is a case of Stoner on its way to me. I've fought streaked windows all my life, even had a friend with a chemical company make me some "special" non streaking stuff that didn' t work much better.

The RainX tip was great, I expect the Stoner Invisible Window to be the same. Thanks again for the tips gents..........

Regards,
BigMoose

Can't believe it! Ordered the Stoner Invisible Window on Monday, and it was at the house on Tuesday! You made me a believer. It works great. You guys are two for two with new products!

Rain-X
Invisible glass

Fog-X
I've been using Fog-X for a while and it works great. The outside still gets condensation but the inside doesn't get foggy at all.
