Default radiator problem

i wentr for an hour drive to go to a car show in NH and on my way back i wanted to check if everything was all goood w/ my turbo and what not and found that anitfreeze was leaking out of the overflow tank. it was packed full and spillling out a little at a time. so i thought that the thermastat was broken, so i decided to crank the heat and open the windows so that the engine wouldnt overheat. then i went 3 more hours to camp and i just got home. it's stil full and it dint over heat. the temp gauge on the cluster dint move, maybe cause it's broken, but the fan on the rediator works. does anyone really know what could have happened to my car and is my thermastat broke, cause thats the only thing i can think of?

if its not overheating, i dont think your thermostat is broken. Just maybe you put to much fluid in and that is what the overflow tank it for. Dump out what you need to and drive it around close to home and see if over heats or gets close.

Yea, if its not overheating or not warming up at all (that's what my was doing before I replaced it), I don't think it the theromstat.
