Default Radiator hoses swelling?

My hoses are swelling some, and causing them to leak at the head, where the thermo housing is..I'm wondering is 1.1bar the correct pressure cap for a D15b7? I'm pretty sure the thermostat is having a problem and is stuck open because the car cools off as I drive down the road with the heat on, like all the way back down to C. Anyone have any suggestions, it didn't swell the hoses like that until after new radiator and cap were installed.
