Default distributer not sparking

the search hasnt really helped much

ok i got a 90 accord with a f23 in it
ive tried 3 distributers none will fir
itll spark when u hit the icm(ignitor) yellow green wire
ive tried jumper wire to the distrib to the computer and still no fire

im not getting a pulse to let it fire

ive even changed out the main fuse and it still wont lit up

any one got a schimatic or have any idea to try,
at this point ive already put a hole in the dash next thing is a road flare

if it fired up before than its either the distributor or the spark plug wires.

Shot in the dark here, how are your grounds? Also check your ecu and the related fuses. Is your fuel pump priming?

ive checked all fuses, only seen one ground, ive replaced the ecu with the chipped p28 for that motor

no ideas

ive tried a few sets of wires
it does fire when i ground out the icm though but that cant be grounded its a pulse ground or something


it does have fuel

it only has lake 20 fuses int he whole car and there all good

Sounds like the trigger signal from the ECU to the ignitor isn't good. Trace that wire back to the ECU & see if it's broken or shorted somewhere. Or maybe that pin isn't seated into the ECU tightly?

never thought about the seating, but i did make a jumper wire from the dist to a21 and a22 the yellow/green and nothing happened, unless one of the other wires controls that output o the icm????????????

I don't really know the differences between generations of ECU, but on my '95 Integra the yellow/green wire is the signal from ECU to ignitor. (Why does it go to 2 ECU pins??)

haha i have no idea, but it is a paint in tha *** to keep pulling the ecu from under the capret everytime hehe

buddy think the positioning sencer wire is messed up so imma try to bypass that that is what causes the pulse
