quick tech question
whats up doods..i havnt started up my vehicle in a few months and i want to crank the motor without out it starting up so i can get some oil circulation...what wire/wires do i unplug??(its a b16,obd0)
thanks doods, the oil is good and the head gasket is bad,hehe..i heard from somewhere that you can disconnect a plug that goes to the distributor and thats all you need to do..whats up with that? or should i go with what you guys said?
There's probably half a dozen ways to disable fuel & spark. Unplugging the distributor would probably do both, since the ECU won't fire the injectors if it's not getting a signal from the CYP & TDC sensors. Pulling the ECU fuse, too, & that's probably easiest.
