Default quick tech question

whats up doods..i havnt started up my vehicle in a few months and i want to crank the motor without out it starting up so i can get some oil circulation...what wire/wires do i unplug??(its a b16,obd0)

Take out the spark plugs so you don't get any compression.

Take out fuel pump fuse or unplug the injectors so you don't get fuel.

take out the ecu fuse, it's under the hood/passenger side

thanks doods,the oil is good and the head gasket is bad,hehe..i heard from somewhere that you can disconnect a plug that goes to the distributor and thats all you need to do..whats up with that? or should i go with what you guys said?

There's probably half a dozen ways to disable fuel & spark. Unplugging the distributor would probably do both, since the ECU won't fire the injectors if it's not getting a signal from the CYP & TDC sensors. Pulling the ECU fuse, too, & that's probably easiest.
