Quick and stupid question about injector clips

Quick and stupid question about injector clips
Does it matter which side the yellow/black and color wire is on, when soldering on OBD1 injector clips on an OBD2 car? Or do they just have to be the same on every injector clip?
In other words, is there a specific side the yellow/black wire has to be on or does it not matter?
Thanks

Re: Quick and stupid question about injector clips (hybridvteceg)
When soldering the actual wires together I'd imagine it WOULD matter. One is a common power source, other is the signal wire...Just guessing, but in every other example of electrical circuits I've seen in my 22 years on this earth, if you get the signal wire and power source backwards, chances are its not going to work.
If I'm wrong then please explain more in depth to me.

on the clips there are 2 wires. if you turned it areound, as long as 1 wire goes to each pin on the injector, and that same wire goes to the proper wire it wouldnt matter
y dont you just match the colors for simplicity

Was having a problem with a car we were working on and just wanted to confirm that wasn't the problem. Problem is fixed though, turned out to be an issue with Uberdata.
