Default Quick nitrous question

I am going to buy a dry nitrous system sometime in late winter and i am trying to learn as much about it as i can. My question is, when do you hit the switch to turn on the nitrous? Do you wait till your finel gear? Or do you hit it off the launch? This question might seem real stupid but i need to know. Thanks for th info.

on street tires in 2 or 3
on slicks in 1 or 2
depends on how much traction you have don't bang the rev limiter on the nos
also only during wot and above 4-5k depending on motor

As others have mentioned, only during wide open throttle. That is because without enough fuel in the mixture and nitrous oxide is put in the cylinder, it'll lean out the mixture and cause detonation... Not a pretty thing if you asked me.

theres a small full throttle switch that you can buy so it ONLY allows you to squeeze at full throttle.
