Default Quick LSD question

this is a jdm itr lsd im about to purchase.



im confused what the extra little piece next to it is? any insight?

its going in a 2000 GSR trans, i have everything all squared away on how i need to do the install, that little piece is just confusing me.

that was my first guess.

i havent had a vss out in a long time, do you just need to swap the gear on the vss to that one?

Yes thats a vss gear, When you remove the old one out of your transmission you will see a clip. Just un clip it and slide the old one out and the new one in and clip her in and your set
