Quick HP question....
Now we all know that a new car has to be worked it to get the best performance out of it and that the more km you have on the car the quicker it gets from new..
Im just wondering at what point does your stock car have the max power..
Im just wondering at what point does your stock car have the max power..
each car is different....ususally on Honda's it is high in the RPM's.....mine redlines at 7200 and the max HORSEpower is at 6800.....while the torque is lower.
no what i meant was say you bring your car and dyno it and it makes say 160hp and it only has 1000miles...if you dyno the same car at 10,000miles will it have more hp...
i was wondering wt wht miles does it have the most hp...
does this make any sense?

Depends on the motor. Out on the domestic front, LS1 motors continually churn out trap speeds at the track up to about 10K miles. The gain is typically associated with alleviated rotating friction from rings/bearings.
As the miles tick on, normal wear & tear, carbon deposits, worn valvetrain components etc., level off the "increasing performance" trend.
