I need a distributor for my obd1 gsr motor and am wondering which ones will work.

Does it need to be from a DOHC?

Can it be from an LS?

Can it be from a D16z6?

I need one asap and dont really have time to be picky. Help.

P.s. I tried searching but its hard to search b/c i cant use "ls" and stuff. thanks

 

You need a distributor from an obd-1 b-series motor. You can use any of the B-series VTEC distributors just fine. Additionally you can use an ls distributor, but you'll need to cutoff a leg to make it work. Either way you'll be fine. I ran a modified ls distributor for 2 years on my car just fine.
