Default question for you!!!

my buddy has a 00 civic (OBD2b) and he is swapping in a 98 integra LS motor(OBD2a) in his car this weekend and im going to help him. but i have one question: i know i would have to change the plug on the distributor and get a OBD2b to OBD2a haness if we decide to stick with the civic's original harness. but would it be easier if we swapped the integra harness to the civic? is it a pain to take out engine harneses? ive never done that before. give me your best opinion please .thanks in advance!

First of all I notice you are in CA. and that your swap will not pass emissions laws for CA.
You have to swap motors from the same year of the car or newer to be legal.
You can not even get it bar'ed.

I have no advice for your b to a. But you have to look at what ECU would be better to run that motor with if you continue with the swap

blah blah i think everyone knows that now, or one more option i think is the best option; get an OBD2a civic harness and swap it then everything would plug right in
