obd2b to obd2a question??? easiest way to swap out a obd2b(searched for days)
well i have a 00 civic coupe plannin an ITR swap. but in my research i see that with the 98 spec ITR you run into the imobleizer and larger ??32?? mm axle problems and its more $$$. this makes me kinda think the obd2a might be easier...which means ill have to get the obd2b to obd2a jumper harness.....now with this harness will i be able to pass emmisions? will i have any cel's? in the long run which way is the easier way to go? i know there are a lot of topics close to this but not specific enough for me... thanks for any help

I'm doing this exact swap in a few months, 00 civic, B18C(R) (converting it to USDM spec), running a USDM 98 spec P73, with a OBD2B to A conversion harness.
If your in cali they might just fail you for the conversion harness, but in most other states, as long as you have a functioning OBD2 port and no CEL, they plug in the computer and you pass
edit: for integra OBD2B (immobilizer equipped) started in 00-01

no, 96-98 is OBD2A, 00-01 is OBD2B
I dont think acura made a USDM ITR in 99???
but any 98+ spec is better, it has bigger cams, shorter final drive, and a better header, there may be more I'm not sure
