Question for rear trailing arm bushing
I've got a 90' integra and I'm going to be replacing the rear trailing arm bushing with one from Energy Suspension. I have gotten all the suspension apart and can't figure out how to get the emergency brake line off the trailing arm. the brake line actually runs through a small hole and has a bracket on the end of it, so I can't just pull it through. Do I have to seperate the brake line from the handle itself? and then fish it through? Can you guys help? Thanks
is this rear drum brake we're talking about? if it is you have to take off the drum, take the cable loose from brakes and run a twelve mm wrench(box end) up on the end of the cable and that will push all the tabs allowing the cable to be pulled thru the backing plate. if its disk brake, there should be a spring loaded metal piece that holds the cable into the bracket. there is a lip on the top that you have to get pliers on and then it will pull out, then you can take the bracket off the cable. hope this helps.
