How to take off 99 civic rear disk E Brake cable!
Sup honda tech. Am in the process of changing out my rear right E brake cable due to snapping the cable now I.cant get the bolt that looks like a flat head srew off that bolts thru the cable to.the rear disc assembly. Help please.

idk if my eg rear calipers were the same and i cant remember much but
i believe i had to remove the bracket that holds the cable to the caliper and loop the ball at the end from around the spring, but i cant remember 100%

Should be a case of removing the R clip and then lifting the pin out to release the end of the cable,you may have to lube the hell out of it and possibly use a screwdriver to lever it out.
