Question on my GSR swap
wutsup,
ok I have a 1991 integra that i am dropping in a 2001 GSR motor+tranny. I bought a 97 GSR harness thinking it would be a perfect fit however it doesnt fit in most places and some plugs are different. How do i find out what wires go to what plugs if i decide to resolder. and do all the colors match up? so if i were going to use my injector connectors etc. would all the colors match up to my 97gsr harness? and.. would it just be too much of a pain? or should i just buy a new 2001 harness? i tried btw hard as hell to find. Lemme know. thanks.

your gonna have to use the original 91 harness...
you cant fit a 97 harness on your car unless you change the in dash harness which is not needed
just use the 91 harness and run a few wires for vtec.... thats it
You'll need to run a Pr3 ecu too

wait,
Your ecu plugs are white right? or are they grey plugs?
I cant remember what years they put grey plugs in integs..
You cant run an obd1 ecu ina obd0 car unless you get a jumper harness..

He stated that he has a 1991 Integra, which is OBD0. So he would have the two black plugs and the one white plug. He would have to get an OBD0 PR3 ECU to run the motor and hard wire in the V-Tec. However, you can use the OBD1 P72 Ecu but you would have to get an OBD0 to OBD1 conversion harness along with OBD1 injectors and dizzy if I am right.

the reason i was using a conversion harness was because i am using a 2001 GSR motor with that harness and was going to pair it up with an obd1 p72 ecu. so that is why i was going from obd2-obd1 with the harness.
What is the easiest and best way without compromising performance to do this swap. ?

Thx guys.. lol now ineed to sell this 97 gsr harnes.. lol..
one last thing. for all the plugs n crap, does my obd0 harness work or do i have to get different plugs/connectors for everything to fit into my gsr motor.
if i have to use new plugs, how do i determine i am soldering the correct wires on the plugs, colors always match? thx
