just a quick question on pulling an engine out of a civic. can i pull the engine out with shift linkage still on or do i hav eto take it off.. i just dont want to hassel with the pin removal sounds like a pain in the butt.

if you can drop it out the bottom you can leave the linkage on. out the top its a bit harder unless you ahve a lift and can get teh car high enough.

 

sounds kind of hard from the bottom.. i would have to put it on some really lowand jack the car up really high?

 

I've done it from the top before you just gotta be very careful and tilt the motor so the shifter will clear.
