Default engine swap question

question, i am planning an engine swap soon, replacing a dead D15b7 with a working D15b7, no mods, wondering if it is possible to swap engines while leaving the transmission in the car. thought it could save some work. let me know. thanks.

yes you can leave the tranny in but it is actually harder to do that way.

if it is a stick, it will be very hard to get the clutch assembly past the bell housing. it will be easier to remove them both at the same time.
